Are you wondering what skill to acquire for getting out of all the stress that you are bound to take for this sudden pandemic? Are you feeling that your all-time safe Real Job is at stake as your company that you are serving long is feeling that you are out of date or an unnecessary expense that can be cut out at this tough time?

Either you have lost your regular job already, or your salary has been cutting off regularly, or if you are in MNC by Luck, you are being boiled in a pressure cooker every moment. After all, these situations are affecting your relationships badly.


Moreover, it's really hard to see your learned skills to be replaced by a new generation app that takes your skill at stake and diminishes your demand in the Market. Depressed or finding the way to fight back? I know you must be thinking of fighting back and Obviously at this moment you must be finding a skill that can make your career the strongest that will be able to survive in all the changes, recession, or even pandemic.

Today, in this article we are going to talk about " Marketing"

It's said that this is the most vintage skill that is living today and will live forever. Many of you must be thinking this is useless, boring, and as usual. But if you can use your mind and conception to look into the entire job market the deeper picture will be clear to you. Marketing is the central idea that exists and creates jobs around it always even when it was in its traditional interface. 


I am writing this article as an assignment of week 2 of the internship program of Digital Deepak Sir and whatever I am writing here is from the lessons taught by the video of #week2. Before going to the deeper layers let's talk about the Why.


So, why Marketing?

Marketing education has a long shelf life because it is rooted in human psychology and understanding the market.

Suppose, you are a Graphics designer who has achieved all the skills required to make a graphical interface by a lot of labors and hard work. Tomorrow an app or software can appear in the marketplace which can be able to replace you and your skills. But marketing skills can't be replaced as it is deeply rooted in economics, psychology, and communication.

Marketing is a matter of perception that can't be created by a Robot.



So no artificial intelligence can replace it.

Marketing is a topic that has existed since the dawn.

Marketing used to be the most valuable investment that gives it a direct immediate ROI.

If you know how to sell you will have a very safe career throughout the ages.

Marketing is the backbone of any company if they have a strong belief in their products. Without understanding marketing, it's not possible to get into the business.



So, ultimately the marketing will be there always, by the ages it can change its procedures. Like we can see the growth of Digital Marketing today. As the age and the people are going digital day by day, marketing also changing its user interface only. But the laws are never changing by the time. So, before diving deep in the new age marketing, knowing the laws of marketing is mandatory because these will give your skill that firmness that it will be able to survive in any kind of Strom and penetrate all types of layers of recession.


Law of Marketing

1. Marketing is a science, not creativity. it's mostly about understanding your target audience and understanding their pain points.

2. Marketing starts before making the products.

It can be directed to natural sales if you can develop your products really well by understanding your customer’s needs.

3. Marketing is about hitting the right person with the right message at the right time that can generate a feeling of one to one conversation that can increase the flow to conversion.

4. Marketing is not just about selling. It's about keeping your customers so happy by communication that the trust builds and they remain your lifetime customer.



5. The purpose of marketing is to build a brand and identity that can capture the position in the customer’s mind for that specific niche. It can decrease your labor and cost of Marketing.

6. Marketing is a perception and product is the reality. So both should lead a person to one end that a good product can market for itself and make more and more brand ambassador that conversion can happen easily by word of mouth.

So at first, your products should be very good.

Be your own customer first. 

Advertisement, copywriting, sales all are just components of Marketing.

Building a strong brand is highly recommended.



Choosing your niche paves your half way of success. After selecting your niche, you have to set a specific goal where you are trying to place yourself. Specifications and financial goals matter a lot. 

To be specific the formula is 

" Don't be the no.1, be the only one in your own specific niche". 

For financial upliftment,

A goal is mandatory. 

Let's say your goal is 10000 in a month . 10 sales of 1000 rupees is recommended to keep the high ROI instead of 1000 sale of 10 rupees. 


Communication skill is important

Marketing for a good product is helping people with their problems with the best solution, it's not manipulation.





It's not about good English, but only express what you think.

Converting your past customer is a lot easier than a new one. So almost regular communication to take care of their trust is very important.

But, after all, as you are developing high end and high valued products focusing on the people of *India1, to be able to communicate in English is really important.




You must be wondering what is India 1, right?

It's related to global and Indian economics and the wealth segment of India. Everyone must have a piece of basic knowledge to make a good decision or make your Strategy. Nowadays India's average age is 27 almost who can spend. So cash will be there in the market and the economy will go high. That's why India and China is a beautiful market with a lot more work possibility.

 There are so many economic facts like debt, economy, recession, etc that should be in knowledge. Another very important topic to be mentioned here the wealth concentration in India which is the most important issue in fixing your target customers who fall in the section of India 1. They have a credit card, laptop or desktop, a car, make more than 5 lakhs per annum, speaks good English, and concentrated in the top 10 cities in India. Almost 23 million households with 110 million people come in your target who will be able to spend 30-50 million until 2025. 

The rest portion of the population in India comes in India 2 and India 3 who are in the labor class mainly with per capita income of rs. 3000 and lower. If you are a mentor you can try to bring some of them to India 1 with your services. Trust goes higher around you in that case. Your brand ambassador and lifetime customer will be created.

So, how the part of Indian or 3 can be transferred to India1? 

The answer is " wealth creation" that can give them a higher spending power and a better lifestyle.
